Hieght: 5f 8inch Tests: SGOT: 41.5 (0-37) SGPT: 63.1 (0-41) Bilirubin : 0.52 Albumin: 4.2 ALP : 66 Cholestrol: 218 Haematocrit: 40.4 what do these tests indicate , does this mean that i have some liver disease or a fatty liver or hep ? Please advise.
Hello,Thanks for using Healthcaremagic. i had gone through all your reports. your reports showing mild elevated liver enzymes (SGPT AND SGOT) with normal ALP suggest mild hepatitis. total cholesterol is mildly elevated hematocrit is mild low common cause for hepatitis are: non alcoholic fatty liver disease alcoholic liver disease viral hepatitis we need some more blood tests and ultrasound to diagnose the cause for your liver disease. total cholesterol is high we need to do LDL and HDL cholesterol to decide on necessity for treatment. fo low hematocrit do complete blood picture, peripheral smear and update us with the above reports.. start lifestyle modifications like regular exercise 30 in per day, try to reduce weight if you are overweight, decrease oil foods,bakery foods and stop alcohol if you have habit of
